Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To provide the safest, most durable, sustainable flooring solutions on the market.
From design to completion, we deliver products that stand up to the toughest conditions—indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between.
Our Story
From the beginning, we were focused on an unmet problem: the consistently increasing number and costs associated with slip-and fall accidents. To solve this problem, we gathered experts from various fields: insurance, flooring, training, chemistry, and entrepreneurship.
This unusual think-tank started by conducting research and we quickly discovered that the numbers are even more startling than we thought: over $70 billion annually in workers’ compensation and medical costs claims stem from slip-and-fall accidents. In 2024 alone, one such claim resulted in a staggering $58 million payout. We found out the primary location for these incidents - Floors.
We also learned that for too long, there has been a glaring absence of flooring products specifically designed to provide truly safe surfaces for employees, students, customers, and even our beloved pets.
Compounding this urgent need, we all recognized, is fact that our relatives, our workers, our friends and neighbors are aging. This changing demographic caused us to increase our focus on accident prevention. We knew that the present flooring options would not provide what was needed. What we needed was flooring material completely unique – unlike traditional carpet, vinyl, ceramic, or hardwood. We needed a dramatic paradigm shift in the flooring world.
The result: flooring products created from materials originally used in oil containment ponds. These unique materials were formulated precisely for one reason only: to help prevent extremely damaging and costly slip-and-fall accidents.
We named our company Safe T Performance Floors for a reason – our floors don’t just keep you safe; they also perform! Whether our floors are exposed to harsh weather conditions, harsh chemicals or challenging wear from heavy loads, vehicles, or contaminants.
Our products are engineered with a high coefficient of friction, with built in layers of slip resistance that will not wear off. Safety alone isn't enough; we've combined safety with extreme durability. Safe T Performance Floors offer exceptional safety and durability that outperforms any other flooring on the market.
Welcome to the future of safe and durable flooring. Welcome to Safe T Performance Floors.
